Escuela de Obstetricia y Puericultura: Buenas prácticas en la elaboración del Plan de Desarrollo Estratégico

Desde 2020 nuestra escuela se encuentra en un arduo trabajo de desarrollo de su Plan Estratégico.

En palabras de Paula Oyarzún, Directora de nuestra Escuela: «Trabajamos de manera periódica (…) donde pudimos darnos cuenta de cuáles son nuestras principales fortalezas en la carrera y cuáles son los aspectos por mejorar».

Al interior de la Unidad académico, se elaboraron proyectos que pudieran dar respuesta principalmente a las necesidades formativas profesionales a través de diversos ejes estratégicos. Este proceso sitemático llevó a conglomerar al equipo de la Escuela de Obstetricia y Puericultura y unirlos en pos de la calidad de la unidad y la Universidad.

El martes 13/07 se publicarón las nuevas rotaciones de 2° a 4° año, en donde se incorporan para 4°año a las actividades practicas virtuales y talleres SIMUV, las pasantias practicas intrahospiralarias desde el 26 de julio y a contar de septiembre las pasantías de Salud Familiar. Recalcamos el gran esfuerzo que ha significado en terminos de gestión el poder concretizar dichas pasantías.

Durante hoy miércoles 14/07 se realizará la primera reunión del comité de buenas prácticas clínicas.

El jueves se realizará la primera reunión con el grupo de 6 estudiantes que asumurán desde julio como ayudantes SIMUV. Esto incluye una beca de apoyo para los estudiantes que realizaran la actividad.

En el transcurso esta semana seguiremos desarrollando de manera exitosa nuestros talleres personalizados SIMUV Obstetricia, únicos en la zona, completando así 90 sesiones desde inicio de Julio, en que nuestras alumnas y alumnos han podido desarrollar sus competencias técnicas por medio de la aplicación de distintos procedimientos a nivel Gineco- Obstétrico, como también de la Neonatología.

Nos alegra la alta participación que hemos tenido durante el desarrollo de nuestros talleres, como también los buenos comentarios y el apoyo por parte de nuestro Estudiantado, los cuales son los actores relevantes dentro de este Proceso Formativo. También agradecemos la entrega de parte de nuestro Equipo Docente quienes han dado todo su esfuerzo para que nuestros estudiantes tengan una formación de calidad, de manera colaborativa, amena y sobresaliente.

Como Equipo de Obstetricia debemos destacar que la pandemia no ha sido un impedimento para lograr nuestros últimos objetivos, ya que se ha podido aplicar de manera eficiente y efectiva cada uno de los talleres con grupos reducidos, cumpliendo con todas las normativas vigentes para la protección de nuestra Comunidad UV y por sobretodo con un alto estándar de calidad basado en la empatía, convivencia y respeto entre Docentes y el Estudiantado.

Juntos y Juntas construimos esta nueva realidad.

Este lunes 7 de junio se dio inicio a las clases hibridas de nuestra carrera en Reñaca en la Facultad de Medicina. con mucha alegría se vivió el reencuentro entre docentes y estudiantes de 4to año de la carrera. El aforo de la sala fue de 20 personas, respetando las medidas de seguridad y aforo del protocolo Covid.

Así se irá produciendo el reencuentro paulitano esta semana con los demás niveles.

Hoy el Equipo Directivo de nuestra Escuela, conformado por la Directora de Escuela, prof. Dra. Paula Oyarzun Andrades, Directora de Depto. Salud Pública y Comunitaria, Prof. Maritza Cofré Conejeros, Directora Depto. Salud Fetal y Neonatal y Coordinadora de Campos Clínicos, Prof. Ingrid Sepúlveda Canales, Directora de Depto. Salud Sexual y Reproductiva, Prof. Dra. Claudia Gutierrez Mella y también con el apoyo de nuestros/as Secretario y Secretarias de nuestra Escuela, Don Manuel Abarca, Srta. Nicole Varas y Sra. Marion Salas, Sra. Claudia Gálvez, se da inicio al retorno seguro de nuestras actividades académicas y administrativas, con el objetivo de implementar toda la planificación realizada en marzo 2021 para un regreso progresivo de los/las/les estudiantes.

Destacar que durante la semana gran parte de los/las docentes realizará turnos en nuestra Escuela para participar de la entrega de kits de talleres virtuales a los/las estudiantes.

Internas de nuestra escuela realizan capacitación a matronas/nes y TENS en temas de Acreditación en el Hospital de Magallanes

El Hospital de Magallanes, recibe por primera vez alumnas de 5º año de Obstetricia y Puericultura de la Universidad de Valparaíso para desarrollar su internado de Gestión y Liderazgo, el que tiene por finalidad afianzar todas las competencias aprendidas en pregrado en esta área y que un profesional matrón hoy requiere para desempeñarse en cualquier institución de salud, tanto pública como privada.

En la foto la Interna Perla Hernández se encuentra realizando capacitación a matronas/nes y TENS en temas de Acreditación, institución que se encuentra en proceso de reacreditación.
