Estimados visitantes de la p\u00e1gina de la Carrera de Obstetricia y Puericultura de la Universidad de Valpara\u00edso y especialmente a la querida\u00a0 comunidad de esta escuela, es con mucha alegr\u00eda que les invito a compartir la publicaci\u00f3n \u201cEN VALPARA\u00cdSO, DESDE 1955 FORMANDO MATONAS Y MATRONES CON VISI\u00d3N DE FUTURO\u201d<\/strong>,\u00a0 fruto del esfuerzo de un grupo de acad\u00e9micos, que por largo tiempo recopilaron documentos, realizaron entrevistas y se adentraron en las profundidades de una historia bella, con momentos luminosos y otros de oscuridad, que nos muestra a sus protagonistas, mujeres esforzadas, pioneras, que compartieron \u00a0un enorme amor por su profesi\u00f3n, \u00a0que las hizo\u00a0 entregarse a labor de formar a las nuevas generaciones de Matronas y Matrones, tarea\u00a0 a la que dedicaron parte importante de sus vidas y sus \u00a0esfuerzos.<\/p>\n Esta \u00a0es nuestra historia, de la cual debemos enorgullecernos, pero por sobre todo \u00a0esforzarnos para que en el futuro, otro grupo, en un mundo que, talvez, poco tenga que ver con nuestra realidad actual, tambi\u00e9n se sienta orgulloso de\u00a0 lo que hoy somos.<\/p>\n Por una feliz coincidencia este lanzamiento ocurre en este d\u00eda 8 de Marzo\u00a0 en que se conmemora el D\u00eda Internacional\u00a0 de la Mujer, porque somos el profesional llamado
