En el contexto de la Conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Internacional de Matronas y Matrones el d\u00eda 5 de mayo, el Comit\u00e9 de Vinculaci\u00f3n con el Medio y Extensi\u00f3n de la Carrera de Obstetricia y Puericultura, Campus San Felipe, entrevist\u00f3 a dos profesionales que trabajan fuera de las fronteras de Chile.<\/p>\n
La primera entrevistada fue la Matrona Mar\u00eda Luz Ruiz, quien forma parte de la organizaci\u00f3n M\u00e9dico Sin Fronteras. Ella nos relata c\u00f3mo ha sido la experiencia de desempe\u00f1arse en esta bella profesi\u00f3n en contextos muy distintos a los existentes en nuestro pa\u00eds. En donde su formaci\u00f3n profesional le ha permitido enfrentarse a nuevos desaf\u00edos en el desarrollo de su carrera profesional.<\/p>\n
La segunda entrevista fue realizada a la matrona Concha Delgado Gutierrez. Ella pertenece a una agrupaci\u00f3n de matronas en Barcelona – Espa\u00f1a llamada Equipo de Matronas de Migjorn, Casa de Naixements. Concha nos comparte su motivaci\u00f3n a formarse como matrona y destaca la importancia de contar con este profesional para asegurar el acompa\u00f1amiento de la mujer en los distintos momentos de su vida.<\/p>\n
Ambas entrevistas entregan un mensaje motivador para las futuras generaciones matronas y matrones y valoran el mensaje de este a\u00f1o para la conmemoraci\u00f3n de este d\u00eda: \u201cLos datos hablan por s\u00ed mismos: hay que invertir en las matronas\u201d. Este lema difundido por la Confederaci\u00f3n Internacional de Matronas – ICM, destaca la importancia fundamental de invertir en cuidados de matroner\u00eda de calidad, poni\u00e9ndola en un primer plano, en los debates sobre la salud mundial, con el objetivo de cambiar las pol\u00edticas y garantizar mejores resultados de salud sexual, reproductiva, materna, neonatal, infantil y adolescente, a nivel global.<\/p>\n
