Experiencias en terreno: una aproximación a la investigación en salud.

Este pasado lunes en nuestro Campus San Felipe vivimos el primer seminario 2022, llamado «Avances en el desarrollo de vacunas contra VIH» desde la perspectiva de nuestra invitada, la Dra. Natalia Salazar-Quiroz, posdoctoral researcher de la Universidad de Yale; con el fin de motivar el desarrollo de la investigación en el área matronil tanto en los académicos como en las/los estudiantes de la Escuela de Obstetricia y Puericultura.

La actividad, organizada por la Profesora de nuestra escuela, Dra. Nicole Iturrieta Guaita y apoyada por la Unidad de Vinculación con el Medio y Extensión a través de la Profesora Laura Aguilera Beovides, tuvo lugar en el auditorio Campus San Felipe y vía streaming desde los Estado Unidos en donde actualmente reside nuestra invitada. Además, para dar el puntapié inicial a esta serie de seminario, contamos con la participación de nuestra Directora de Escuela, Profesora Dra Paula Oyarzún Andrades , quien destacó el desarrollo de esta actividad para el fortalecimiento de la investigación entre estudiantes y docentes.

Con gran orgullo, podemos decir, que fue todo un éxito nuestro primer seminario 2022.

Con más de 50 participantes se realizó la Primera Jornada de Investigación en Salud, diversidad sexual y género: una aproximación desde la Matronería, con motivo de la conmemoración del Mes del Orgullo. La actividad organizada por la Escuela de Obstetricia y Puericultura de la Universidad de Valparaíso y Fundación Iguales se realizó el día miércoles 24 de Junio a través de la plataforma Zoom. Dentro de los/las/les expositores/as destaca la Doctora © Cynthia Vergara de la Universidad Austral, profesor Danilo Zamorano y la estudiante Estefany Vera, quienes presentaron una panorámica sobre la situación actual en salud e investigaciones relacionadas al colectivo LGBTIQ.

Estimada comunidad educativa OyP tenemos el agrado de presentar el reciente artículo elaborado por la Profesora Nicole G. Iturrieta-Guaita del Campus San Felipe, denominada: «Using electronic communication technologies for improving syphilis partner notification in Chile: healthcare providers’ perspectives – a qualitative case study».

La notificación a la pareja (PN) en Australia ha sido estudiada y mejorada en las últimas décadas. Investigadores internacionales han destacado el uso de tecnologías de comunicación para ayudar a la PN. Tomando como ejemplo la experiencia australiana, el objetivo de este estudio es explorar las perspectivas de los médicos sobre el uso de sitios web especializados, como Let them know, para facilitar la PN en el contexto chileno.

JORNADA DE PRESENTACIÓN DE RESULTADOS DE INVESTIGACIÓN: HACIA EL PARTO PERSONALIZADO DESDE LA PERSPECTIVA DE LOS DISTINTOS ACTORES REVISIÓN DE LA LITERATURA CHILE Y A.L.

Tenemos el agrado de compartir con toda nuestra comunidad educativa la primera jornada de difusión de resultados sobre el Proyecto FONIS SA15I20070: «HACIA EL PARTO PERSONALIZADO DESDE LA PERSPECTIVA DE LOS DISTINTOS ACTORES Revisión de la literatura chile y a.l.».

El propósito fue presentar y reflexionar acerca de resultados de una revisión sistemática acerca del tema de la personalización de la atención del parto, y del concepto de violencia obstétrica, desde la mirada de distintos actores involucrados: usuarios, profesionales de salud, instancias gubernamentales e institucionales, legislativas, sociales, mundo académico. Durante la jornada se presentaron los resultados y se realizó un intercambio en relación a los distintos actores en el tema, qué avances hay, cuáles son los aspectos facilitadores, cuáles las dificultades, cuáles las propuestas locales y viabilidad.

Felicitamos al equipo investigador por el profesionalismo y calidad de su trabajo.
